WordPress PostgreSQL Port

While this blogger blogging thing seems OK, I think I would prefer to use WordPress on my own site. The only problem is that I use PostgreSQL instead of MySQL, and this could be a problem...

(And I can't do the FTP publishing via blogger as my webhost doesn't allow FTP.)

Now do I try and port WordPress to PostgreSQL myself, or do I try and get MySQL installed?

Ah ha! It seems there has been some motion by others in this direction... Now my ISP is playing up and I can't read page 2, so I'll come back to this later.
